Mixed plastics sorting line mainly composed of feeding conveyor, dryer, agitating conveyor, bucket elevator, electrostatic separator, discharging screw conveyor, etc, which is specially designed to make separation of crushed mixed plastics, like ABS/PS/PP, ABS/PS/PC, PVC/PET, PP/PE, PC/PMMA, PVC/PA, PA/PE/PO, PS/PET/PVC, etc. After separation, different types plastics could be sorted out from the mixture.
The mixed plastics sorting line by using the different electric properties of different types plastics to make the separation. So the plastic mixture should not have too many types plastics mixed together, better no more than 2-3 types, otherwise it would affect the separation effect.
As for different types plastics have different electric properties, after drying and feeding through the agitating conveyor, they would be charged by stirring and friction. Then the charged plastic mixture would be fed into the electrostatic separator and then get separated by dropping through the electromagnetic field inside the electrostatic separator.
